Hi lads, I've had big bikes for the past 25 years but this year I decided to buy a 2017 675R. After reading all of the reviews it certainly had a lot to live up to. I ran the bike for the first 1000km with the suspension set to factory road and absolutely hated it.

Thankfully since then I've had the suspension adjusted professionally and it's much better. That being said I'm still struggling with the riding position and almost feel awkward on the thing. I'm very average height and weight (5.9 and 78kg) I'm not sure if it's me or the bike at this stage. I recall having a similar problem with my Ducati 916. I felt the pegs were very high and far forward. I bought some aftermarket rear sets and it felt like a different bike.

Maybe I just need to change my riding style as I carry so much more corner speed on this bike.I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? I see R&G do some really nice rear sets that look as though they have a generous range of adjustment.

Just bought some lightech chain adjusters and they were good quality. I'll have a look at them!
