Heading away tomorrow to Austria....Nassfeld on the Italian border. Very odd in the Alps this year. Southern Austria looks ok. And they've got the shorts and mountain bikes out in France! Hey ho. Hope everyone's well and planning plenty of bike trips in 2023. As I home in fast on fiddy.....its time to get motoring while I can still confidently sneeze! Have a great time mate. My little brother has taken his family to The Ducks this week (Les Deux Alpes). Sounds like the glacier area right up at the top is "useable", but it's rather poor everywhere below 2000m. Perhaps there will be another "late heavy drop" as we have seen a few times over the last decade or so.
Fingers crossed...it looks poor thus far in France. There's snow due across the Alps Monday so we shall see. On a positive note (for me) my new snowboard arrived....
