Here we go then. Off down there tomorrow and booked on the full practice day. Racing Sunday and Monday. Looking forward to it. It's been too long.

Qualified 32/53 with a 1:30.148 putting me 27th on the grid in the A race and 10th on the grid in the B race. Pole is 1:23.974

Also got the Military race today if I can be arsed

 

That's a mere 7 seconds, I'm sure when you clicked into the swing you could manage that.???

 

It didn't quite work out like that.

 

Not a good 2nd race for me yesterday. For the first time ever in a race I lost the plot. After working like a trojan to pass six lads it was all undone after passing a lad round Coram only to watch him come past up the straight lap after lap. Tried a lunge at turn one. Ended up on the kerb with a wiggle on. Couldn't get close enough at Turn two

On my way down the straight for some reason I went into 3rd instead of fifth and all six came past me. Got back with them around Bombhole and went past two of them in Coram only to fuck up the downchange ending up in first. You can imagine what happened when I let the clutch out Kept it upright though and made my way to the marshalls post and parked it.

Marshall is like "you're out in the next one aren't you?"

Me "not any more"

I was fuckin fizzing. I know I'm a fat lad but I'm halfway up the time sheet on a bike that is rock bottom on the top speed sheet and I just lost it for a second. Getting blitzed on the straight bits only to be baulked in the corners which destroys my exit only to be mullered again on the next straight. Composure went and I'm angry with myself for letting it happen now in hindsight.

In other news I did go quicker and am in the 29's now. However so has pretty much everyone else so I've slipped to 42/53 on my Megalaps time which puts me 20th and 32nd on the grids for my races today. Gonna be busy

Alas no footage this time as my camera failed scrutineering whilst in exactly the same position as it was at Brands. I didn't question it and just removed it as I couldn't be bothered

 

A good days racing on day two

First one red flagged twice. Absolute bloody carnage. We ended up with a five lap dash. Was good fun. Lots of overtaking. 19th I ended up.

Second race was great fun. Every lap passing at turn one, two, The Bombhole and Coram only to be passed back on the two straights Finished 17th in the end.

Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Was on a trackday yesterday at snetterton, jeeze there was oil spills everywhere lol.

 

Yes there was a lot of stoppages particularly on Sunday.

 

My favourite one was the one into the pits! I'd like to know what happened at the entrance to coram. Looked like a oil tanker had split in half. That must of been a biggy.
