Coming soon, within the next couple of months (date TBC) Triumph will be selling the clutch, alternator and timing covers as a set for £120. I think they look absolutely smart, maintaining the triumph look. Now all I got to do is call my dealer to get hold of these for me! You may need to zoom in to see the cover here: Took a more exposed photo to show the cover more clearly:
depends whos doing the farting, i bet kate beckinsales smells like roses. needless to say she can fart in my space suit any time she wants. I'll be ordering a set i think.
I thought most were plastic as some have very high abbrasion resistance without catching. But will they sell them individualy one you use one side. Sent from an Android
They weren't plastic, not sure what material but they felt fairly strong (almost granite like). The photos don't do them justice but when looking at them they blend in rather nice to the point where the average joe wouldn't notice they're extra on the bike. Really nice IMO
I think they look quite good. And would def work well on newer bikes. Whereas gb and t3 ones are good that styling keeps the triumph look. I'd say they are prob made out of the same composite material as the others on the market.
If anyone is interested in these, below are the details: Part number A9618130, Cover Protectors, Kit. This is the complete kit which retails at £123.99. For information, the kit comprises: A9610202, Alternator cover Protector. (£51.99 RRP) A9610203, Clutch Cover Protector. (£51.99 RRP) A9610204, Crank Cover Protector. (£25.99 RRP) As well as the various screws and washers needed for fitment. Replacement parts are of course available separately.
I saw these on one of the bikes at Triumph Live in the display tent, really wasn't that sure about them. Much prefer the look of my GB Racing ones.
Anyone know if these fit the 2009-2010 models with the slightly more 'dome' shaped Alternator cover rather than the newer flatter one?
Take my advice and get covers that have no holes in them because unless you are going to take them off and clean underneath this is the result.
