I don't mean those terrible lumo things that look like a pair of fishing waders I'm after something a bit more stylish if you please. Currently wearing the RST pro series (think they were around the £180-200 mark) but have recently discovered that too many goes in the washing machine leaves you with a soggy arse when you get into work. Any suggestions please lads and lasses?
I gots the RST Adventure suit (wons it in a competition) and im really happy with them. Been in some proper lashing rain too not a drop let through.
Looks like its them bad boys again then. Not much of a choice is there? :? Sent from my BlackBerry 9320 using Tapatalk
When I was learning to ride one of my instructors had Wolf Titanium Outlast suit. He was wearing it rain and shine and never had any complains - waterproof, windproof and in sunlight Outlast keeps you cool. I think the trousers are about £200 so not too expensive.
If they were goretex. After you wash them put them on a low heat tumble dry. This fluffs the fibres up again and goretex should be more waterproof snd breathable.
I bought a pair of Dupont kevlar jeans off flea bay in stylish black for the amazing price of £34 and they are fully waterproof too I have already tested this out and stayed bone dry was really impressed and for that price is a right bargain. I still have my Triumph one piece Johnny suit that I got from Dino and that is the tits bright orange so cagers can see you for miles and now that I live in Essex I fit right in when wearing it  always kept the rain out though. Also had a hein gericke own label 40 quid one piece Johnny suit that kept me nice and dry during last years fest which those of you who went will know it was more like riding your bike in a swimming pool
Are these gonna be good at saving my arse from road rash? I'll definitely be getting a pair if so...other motorcycle jeans I looked at were really expensive and I didn't want to fork out having just splashed out on a new lid
In a word yes and unlike the more expensive Draggin Jeans they come with Armour and knee protection too so it really is a bargain for that price and that's the big let down with Kevlars is often they don't come with armour you need to buy it seperately so this way it was happy days all round.
I use mine all year round so don’t mind splashing out a few extra quid for a decent pair as opposed to pair over over-trousers. Cheers for the response gents..
