I changed oil along with air and oil filters. Fitted helibars and Oxford Sports hotgrips. Waiting for a gel seat now and will have a comfy sports bike :)
The difference the helibars makes is awesome. Don't know why I didn't do it sooner!

Just under 6k on the air filter:

    Nice new oil:

What did you get up to?

...and then home again ( :p via Bridlington, as I needed to "de-stress")

  4. Want to do both these things to mine. Which brand oil did you go for Tony? Is that a standard air filter?

I put some adjustable levers on mine today and just charged the battery, hopefully so I can have a blast on it tomorrow!

I rode the last few miles to take it up to 500 for its first service and then gave it a wash!

Just popped out just now to get some fags and when I went to get back on at the garage I noticed I'd lost the 2 ****** springs off the stand so it wouldn't spring up!!

Had to ride home in 1st with me left foot holding the ******* thing up!

Went for a decent ride, then sat at a garage for an hour trying to secure my seat cowl as the bolt rocked loose! Fortunately some kind bloke (biker) and his son who were filling up their car asked if they could help and sorted me out with a allen key! Got back home, put allen key under seat :)

  12. Put it in the back of my van ready for snetterton on Monday

  13. saw it for the first time,
    fell in love,
    handed over all my money.

started to become obsessive over it

  16. Haven't stopped smiling yet
    .
Its all a bit intoxicating; the noise, the looks, the feel of it on the road.

Contemplating fitting the TOR exhaust that came with it but worried it'll be too loud for the roads

Oh yeah and I also tried on the new dainese super speed jacket that I've been drooling over for the last 6 months and........................ It doesn't fit!!! Same size as my other dainese leathers feels like I'm in a straight jacket and the next size up is like wearing a black bag. No justice!
