Have done around 2500 miles on them and 2 track days (1 dry, 1 very wet) but as you can see, I'm not very hard on tyres.

Front is dated 3814, not sure of rear as is taped them up before I remembered. Both fitted at the same time but if you need to see the date it's no real problem.

Really not sure on price but have to (forum rules) put something, so we'll say £140 shipped for now.

  2. Why are you selling 'em? They look like they've got loads of life left...

Just put a fresh set on ahead of a trackday.

Probably am crazy for changing....new to judging tyre wear for trackdays and it was playing on my mind a little. Then when I compared new to old saw I could have waited.

Oh well, live and learn and selling to recoup a little money back.

  5. I'd keep them. Put them back on for the trackday, burn them up , then put them brand new ones back on for the road. Up to you though...

I appreciate all the comments, guys, but to be honest I'm a little embarrassed I've unnecessarily spent a fair bit of money and would just like to get some back if I can. :)

If I changed my own tyres then it'd be no bother.

  10. In the future, though, if you keep those tyres, you'll save money by reusing them... Even taking them somewhere to be fitted. There's so much life left in them. By selling them for £70 that is just adding to the pain... Surely?

Of course it's your call, though :) Don't mean to speak out of turn... I'm sure someone will buy 'em off ya ;)

You are, no doubt, absolutely correct :).

Will keep them for now....or at least til I can make a decision not based in embarrassment.

Mate you have to be 100% going out on track you did the right thing if you weren't 100% confident. Plus you have brand new rubber for track now so happy days!! Take them along with you the guys doing tyre support will put them back on for you at the end of the day if you want. Ir just save them until the new set are done

  14. Keep them as a spare you never know when your gonna get a puncture. And you'll have a decent tyre to go on

I get the point about 100% on track. But those tyres are really good by all accounts and absolutely fine. You use the edge of the tyre on tracks more so they ll be fine.
