So cold, wet, snow, red flags and petrol down all the way round. Despite that it's great to be back out on a bike again
Yer no wrong...... Good day though, I've enjoyed it Now packed up waiting to get out. Back to base, swap into the car then straight to Mrs TDB's for beer + pizza
Well done tdb, great effort even if you didn't need the snowplough in the end - still putting all us summer riders to shame!! Hope you managed to thaw out again afterwards!
What suspension set up do you have on your CB @trackdaybob? I bought a filthy road going one that had been sat in a barn for a year and a half to make it into a track bike, it'll be for the times I don't fancy riding the 675 and some different fun. Currently looks like this:
The van is plenty warm Front forks are sprung and 20w oil. Rear is fitted with YSS shocks from our very own @Sideshow Pob and sprung for me weight.
Nice one, thanks. They're standard springs up front I assume? Any idea how much the shocks were? I've been debating whether to get YSS or Hagon
@STRDan Yes, that's all we're allowed up front. I spoke at length with @Sideshow Pob (Paul) and decided to go YSS. He did me a cracking deal on them. Best I can say is give him a call for a chat. Tell him I sent you
I thought hypapro or hagon were allowed? Excellent, thanks for the help. Shocks are on next months shopping list so will give him a call then. Looking forward to getting it built and on track. Will be sure to mention you. Thanks again.
Some footage here from @JamWheel on one of the Smallboy bikes. It'll give you an idea how shitty it was. He catches me at around the 5 minute mark
But you're not parked in your usual spot TDB.?? You're at least 20cm further along from last time. Weather looks good for tomorrow, so you made a good call back when you booked.
