Crispy, we headed down as far as arras then turned left into Belgium. It's all motorway to begin with, if you're trying to eat up the miles, but we stopped at trier first so we went more e411 and circumnavigated Luxembourg City. All motorway ish, but no toll roads. Why don't you pm george, he'll give you a nicer route I'm sure. @george.florentin
All highways in Belgium are limited at 120km/h. Speed cameras are usually announced by road signs. Sometimes the police installs hidden camera in the bushes or they use laser guns, but I have never seen them doing this, except on TV. The country roads are no where near as nice as the ones from last year's fest. Speed limit on national roads is 50 or 70 in villages and 90 outside. There are speed cameras also in villages. The only nice country roads in Belgium are the ones closer to Luxembourg and border with France (in the Ardennes). If you are not in a hurry, I could try this weekend to find a nicer route through Belgium.
Route planned....happy days. Basically going to get through the majority of France... Here's the route: ...then it's playtime once we get to the south eastern France.
