I found them too hard and I run in inters they last for ever tho so there good on the wallet.
You get no real feedback I went from compk to Bridgestone v02 and it’s like night and day.

Be careful buying 2nd hand I have twice now and both times had dramas, one pair not meant for my bike but got my money back so no real problem the other were bent but sold as good condition I had all sorts of problems getting the issue sorted. The biggest was that I fitted them to spare wheels and didn’t use them for 3 months and didn’t no there was a problem until I braked hard

  3. I think it personal preference, I run fast group and have compks, get plenty of feedback and find them predictable when pushed.

Obviously not as fast as fresh race compound but they don't get affected by heat cycles and are more consistent over 6 to 8 trackdays.

Comes down to cost at the end of the day, I only do trackdays so don't care about ultimate laptimes (just my progression) so these save me a fortune.

I'll bear this in mind, to be honest though i'd only go 2nd hand if they were either cheap cheap or they were as new.

I was hoping to pick a set up from the MCE show but the cheapest quote i got there was £440 which is still more than i've found on the net!

Good on the wallet is what I’m after to be honest, getting through a rear every two trackdays unless it’s dry and I can get away with flipping it

As for the discs @MrGman they do come up if your patient especially this time of year, picked up a set of wheels complete with HPKs for £300 last year and nearly bought a set of the brembo T drives for around the £170 mark at one point

The best deal I have had on the hpk discs was recently I bought a pair of new dymag upx7 wheels for my SP I asked if there would be any major discount if I also ordered a pair of hpk discs and he came back with £190 for the pair as long as I bought the wheels at the same time.

  8. Wanted a small tool kit to take away with me in June, so brought this

Apparently this ratchet will undo 110nm of torque with a pole over the handle obviously. Though that was pretty good.

  10. Happy Christmas NotPuppy. I didn't realise that there were quite so many parts involved in a simple seat cowl.

And Happy Christmas garage dwelling vermin. Let's see you gnaw on this ya little sh*ts. Mwahahaha.

Perhaps it will be listed along with a slightly mouse eaten pillion seat...

  14. Please don't say that. I haven't been out to pet the bike for over a week now and I'm terrified that when I go to take her cover off, I'm going to find a massive pile of shredded wiring underneath her.

Search eBay for ‘Wera tool check’

  18. What Gman said. I got the tool check plus. There are others with different range of tools which come with.
Handy size for trips with a good range of tools. Nice quality too.
