Other than an Arrow end can and a '916 style' steering damper to go on I think the mods are pretty much complete for this year.

    She has had the
front forks serviced (during which i received a phone call to say there was a set of k-tec internals in there)
    New Brembo 19RCS
New HEL lines front and rear
New steering lock stop (using old steering damper fixing positions)
    New Front fairing/clock bracket
New Supercorsa SP front and SC2 rear
New indicator flasher relay for the led integrated rear light.

On next years shopping list will be rearsets and a quickshifter

Its been a pretty stressful couple of months since purchasing what was a bit of a dog of a bike. Discovering it had more than likely been crashed on track in the past but then sold on in road trim to the previous owner by a dealership.
However she pulls well, has really quick steering and stops quick enough for me.

Any other suggestions on mods would be appreciated

On top of your list of mods/what you’ve already got planned, 2019 might be good for:
    Slipper clutch
Öhlins/Nitron/K-tech shock (and spring to match your weight/riding style)
Uprated (or at least fresh) brake pads to sharpen the braking up that bit extra - there are loads of good “road racing” ones to choose from. I like the SBS ones, but bendix, Brembo and others are all popular.
    Lithium battery (less weight/maintenance)
Crash protection bungs for fairings and forks to go with the engine casings.
Dyno time to get a bit extra out of the engine once you’ve got the arrow on - my 675r feels like it has an extra 10hp over my stock 675, but it does make it thirstier.

    Enjoy!

ah yes forgot to say I did upgrade the front pads to SBS pads as well.

Good shout on the slipper clutch, this is the 1st bike I have ridden for quite a few years that doesn't have one except for an old srad track bike i hired a couple of years back.

Fwiw I also have an integrated rear light cluster.
However (after following my bike being ridden by a mate) I decided to go back to small separate ones mounted in the conventional position.
As well as the legal compliance aspect, the wider spacing of the indication points makes your intended signal far more evident to any vehicle behind you. I prefer not to give them any mitigation for ignoring my signals, and blatting me from behind as a result.?

On the same theme(ish) however, I think flush front indicators are a suggestion you may want to consider.?

Sorry about the negativity from my last post mate.:oopsoops:

Something else that may be worth mentioning.: The casing protection is an excellent move, however a number of members have reported that after a period of time the casings behind can tend to corrode (due, we suspect, to damp & crud getting trapped between the casing & their covers). I believe the popular remedy is to use silicon mastic behind the covers, sealing out the damp & detritus.
    Hth.

I didn't take it as being negative, it was a valid point bud which I hadn't really thought of with regards to the integrated indicators. However as that's what came with the bike and not the original rear light then that's what will be staying on there for the time being.
I hadn't thought to remove the casings and check whats happening under them, I kinda don't want to uncover anymore horrors !!

  7. When you say steering lock out of an old steering damper? I have broke my steering stop in a low crash and I try to find a solution....
