  2. I would've loved to have seen your postie trying to ram that through your letter box.

I have no idea how it will look on my 09’ Daytona but here’s to hoping.

Bit worried though as I was advised to use a 68mm stroke damper but this says use a 75mm on the Hyperpro packaging.
Just hope as it’s for a different year they got it wrong.

Keep us posted on the fit/effect and post some pics of the fitted damper - been thinking about doing this mod for a while...

Kids sports and birthday sleepover this weekend, so probably won’t get a chance to fit/test properly until next week

  8. All done. Thought I did post piccy’s.

Much better feel though. The stock one being 10yr old had no damping and the adjustability on the fly is a nice touch for low speed and manoeuvring the bike.
All much better but dunno if it’s worth the money regarding how I ride. Lol

what are the capacity and dimensions on that?
was looking for some little touring cans before.
some of the mounting brackets are expensive compared to the cans.

  14. Lots to choose from direct from the factory
    This one is 1.5lt

Where are you going to mount the fuel friend??

  16. In the green pouch on the trail rack on this bike - old Army side pouch
This was the bike is was primary bought for but I did buy two as the postage was the same for one.
I will probably use the other one on the Maverick as I'm getting side luggage made for it.

  17. This multifunction LED rear light, plan is to try and Mount it under the seat on the Thruxton, it's flexible enough to follow the curve, but only if I deem it bright enough to be safe and I can make a decent job of it.
I don't actually mind the rear lights and tail tidy as they are but it was only £3 and it's something to do in the winter:(

  18. Are you keeping the original as I doubt this one is legal?
18cm centre to centre in case you're wondering :)

  19. If I do end up fitting it I'll just swapped back over for the MOT, it'll be plug and play.
It's more a case of whether I feel it's adequate rather than if it's legal.

  20. Fair one, I had one fitted to a 675 and thought it looked the business until I swapped bikes with a mate and rode behind my own bike.
The indicators could hardly be seen especially when the brake light was applied, OEM was back on in no time.
