F1A90C83-3EEE-4EE6-B209-49051BBBE124.jpeg Hi guys, I’ve had my 2014 675r for around 3 months now and love it. Picked her up
With 3800 miles and very few modifications just asv leavers and a tail tidy.
Looking forward to hopefully meeting a few off you and enjoying a ride out some time. 8C6E28FA-6F4A-4237-969D-1B5ECA2542A2.jpeg 16AA3C88-0036-41CA-B600-CCAF43879202.jpeg

Welcome to the forum, bike looks awesome in the sunshine, great to see somebody buying and not selling their Daytona for a change, they seem to be quite a rare sight nowadays.

You've also got the pillion seat cowl and frame sliders, unless you bought them since.

Here's mine almost identical 675R but with the Arrow can which I highly recommend if you want to release even more of that gorgeous triple soundtrack, especially with no baffle and exup fully open.:D

Hello mate bike looks great :)
And I didn’t know if the seat cowl and frame sliders where from standard or not so didn’t mention them but yes I bought the bike as it is.
And yes the arrow can is certainly on my list of things to buy for her but I’m waiting for a clean one to come up as most seem to have scuffs or clearly been on a track bike. Do you know if the 675 owners club do any meets or ride outs ? I’m down in Kent but would love to ride with fellow owners some time. Cheers

  6. Your from Kent? The first photo looked a little bit like Hastings seafront to be honest.

What have you stepped up from.?

Thank you mate. Had to wait for a few months for the right one to come along but finally she did. And this is my first road bike. At 16 started with a moped then had off-road bikes but always wanted to get on the road at some point and this year I finally pulled the trigger. And I couldn’t be more happier with that decision if I’m honest :D

  10. Ah man. How sad am I knowing that from that photo. Funnily enough back when we was allowed out there was a nice kebab van there called girls gone Greek. Woulda made your ride even better. Some times a nice coffee pop there now fogg and Wilde I think it’s called now.
Also, lovely bike. You got the quick shifter yet? Or is that coming with the exhaust?

  11. Standard on the R

  12. That's a superfine choice for your first 'big' bike and its gorgeous. There's not a huge amount of choice in the mid cc range supersports and despite its age, the 675 is still THE BEST. Ok, I'm possibly a bit biased (I'm now on my fourth, albeit slightly broken, one now), but it's still a bloody good bike.

    Hi Janey :)
And yes I had a choice between this or a zx6r but went for the triple as I couldn’t resist the noise and looks.
wow you must be a 675 enthusiast to be on your 4th one. You say broken …. What’s happend to it ?

  14. Big end bearings have gone. All three of the fookers. Still, the 200 odd miles that I had out of it before it disintegrated were fun!

I've always lusted over the Rs but have never quite been able to justify the cost. The standard upgrades wouldn't make an awful lot of difference to my riding (in)ability anyway.

Ahhhh ok well fingers crossed she’s up and running soon :D
And yes to be honest I didn’t need the R myself but it’s was abit off a treat for an early 30th Present to myself ….
