What did you do to your bike today?

Discussion in 'General' started by Tony B, Apr 6, 2013.

  1. Absolutely this.

I don't have a very modern car myself, so I assume that the fitment of indicators on newer vehicles is now on the 'Options' list.

Drives me insane. Lazy, incompetent driving.

Month or so ago had a free evening so decided to wrap the mini moto to roughly match the Daytona. Since then Daytona has been stripped down and wrap taken off for for new design for next year.

  3. Oh my lordy, I so want one

  4. That's the main difference between stopping anywhere on the Thruxton versus the Daytona, strangers walking up to look at the bike and reminiscing about Triumphs they owned in the past, hence me taking the pic before he got there while he was partially hidden by the sculpture.o_O
Often when I've returned to the bike and just put my earplugs in:duh:, lost count the number of times I've been ready to leave then 1/2 hour later still there talking, which I don't mind to be honest.

New bulbs - went with the Philips White Vision Ultra however haven’t turned out as “white” as I’d like . They are whiter than standard for sure but I’d quite like they white look!….and swapped the red shorty ASV’s out for black longer ones :D

Gave mine a quick clean as it's in the garage naked. Checked the electrics and found out my indicator relay may have died.....

Now, that's an easy fix right?

Not if you've moved the old relay to fit a new one and moved it to the side of the airbox to keep it out of the way.

I'll pull the tank off tomorrow and airbox to swap it tomorrow

Were they the R&G ones? I had the same and was a bit of a faff.

No evotech ones. First time I’ve ever fitted a set to any bike I’ve owned and after that I won’t again

I've got the R&G ones and I'd agree. Only fitted them as the headers are looking a bit tired in comparison to the rest of the bike but it was a complete ball ache.
