Yes same as me then the radiator it’s self was looking good so wanted to hide the down pipes away and thought I’d do them both at the same time but took me ages to get them both fitted

I got R&g ones and never again the top one is fine and great the bottom on though, I could not get it lined up with the hole for the fairings at the bottom the rear hole was making it hit the radiator and the front hole would not line up correctly.

    Right pain in the a**e

  5. I also had my first ride of the year this sunrise... You did so much better than me; I done about 10 freezing miles before I thought fek this! I think that maybe the summer gloves may have been a poor choice

I was going to take the plunge myself but opted to be a wimp and go back inside the warm house

I bought some thicker gloves last year - still had cold hands but not cold enough to stop me from riding for an hour ;)

    An HOUR !!! :-OO

Fwiw 20 mins is about my max for a "ride" .An hour isn't a ride, it's a blinking journey imho. In many ways I'm envious of the many who can put me in my place for having this mindset, those riders who can enjoy epic tours & eurotrips etc..

I'm knocking on a bit now so not sure I would be doing any more than an hour in one stint but found it not too bad apart from the cold fingers.

  12. Finished putting it all back to totally stock so I can sell it! Just waiting for tyres to turn up and get the MOT done and can properly advertise it.

  13. This was mine back to stock just before I traded it for the Thruxton, only had it a few months and still miss it sometimes, especially the sound when it had the decat link pipe to go with the Akra.

  14. Yeah it’s mega tbh, I’ve got a full track set up for it but I ran a long pipewerx pipe for uk trackdays and still sounded mega!!!

The anniversary was without doubt the best colours though, you let a good one go there, but on tne road it’s pretty wasted.

Fitted the winglet mirrors so it's now ready for the warmer and lighter commutes. Still not 100% convinced about them tbh 20230216_140155.jpeg 20230216_140238.jpeg

Only bought new ones as my originals were loose and move around. I'm not 100% convinced as yet. Doesn't appear to be a lot of options in terms of mirrors for these.

I looked at the winglets but they seem to be styles for a pani. Going for the veloce mirrors I think.

  19. Over the winter mines had -

    - Billit oil cooler (heat exchanger O ring failed)
    - Clutch cable and adjusters
    - plugs, oil, all filters
    - UKRS de-cat headers and gaskets
    - Re-do sump gasket (I messed it up 1st time after having to replace cracked sump, doh)
    - LHS engine cover
    - Powdercoat wheels gold to black, so new bearings
    - DIY wrap
+ Probably more that I have forgotten.

Didn't take many pics but here's some.
