I always have one of these in my car window

Discussion in 'General' started by fkkr1s, Apr 11, 2015.

  1. Had one on my car since mid last year and have a few spares for when the GF decided to change her car as the mini Convertable would look silly with one as the back screen is almost bigger than the sticker.

  5. Some of the bikers here are also car drivers. I like to consider myself something else than twat, cunt, asshole, etc.
What I also know is that drivers do mistakes which some (many) bike vloggers exaggerate in their videos.

  6. I have had 1 close call since November when I got the 899. Fella in a VW Transporter nearly took me out chaning into my lane. He had two of those stickers on his van and a TT sticker.

Well mr florentin, I would normally feel in the mood for a contrite apology, but this morning some utter chav has run over my cat, the ginger ninja and broken his pelvis...current vet bill at £1000, so seeing as I didn't specifically site you or any other "driver" on this site take it in the context it was meant...a parody on the original.

But thank you for the reply.

Sorry to hear about your cat Emma. That's terrible news. Vets can do miracle work though

Thank u lovely peeps bit sad for him...got woken up 7.45 am by someone ringing doorbell, t say that they'd just been behind the car that ran him over. At least they were nice enough to make sure we knew, straight to out of hours vet, hence the phenomenal price. Bang goes our trip round alps in bikes??? Oh well that's what credit cards are for. Going to write a sternly worded letter when I find out where they live...Norman, (the ginger ninja is currently tripping his paws off on methadone, so spose it's not all bad???) x

By a SMaRT car. Oh the irony...

  11. I really am sorry about your cat. Now that you mentioned it I remembered when I took all 9 lives of a cat with one hit, but in my situation I had to choose between killing all the people from my car or killing all the people in the car I was overtaking or kill the cat. No human life was lost so I consider I did the least bad thing. I still consider myself a not-so-bad driver.
I hope a quick recovery to your quadruped friend.

  12. I'm very sorry to hear about your news Emma. Hope Norman makes a full recovery.

Last year we lost Mojo, our British Short Hair to a scrotebag in a car outside of our house. My oldest boy found him lying underneath a parked car. MrsW was too upset to deal with it so Sammie brought him inside wrapped in a sheet. I buried the cat in the back garden after I got home from work. The same week our neighbour lost their cat to the same fate.

Totally gutting! We'd only had Mojo for nine months following the passing of our previous BSH Monty, due to stomach cancer.

We now have Marlow whose been with us for a year and we all love him to bits.

Yes, I know I'm as soft as shite :)

George/Damian, thanks for the nice words. I don't want to hijack this thread as an homage to the cat, which is after all a cat...I genuinely think that all bikers make much better drivers anyway. Accidents happen regardless of people's skill-set. Today I'm just hacked off it was to the detriment of my bank account, and the unnecessary pain for my mog, probably caused by something as mundane as someone getting to tesco a bit quicker. :(
