    Hi there,

Just got a bike a few weeks ago and learnt the hard way that the fuel light doesn't come on. Trying to figure out the problem.
    - should the light come on when you first turn the bike on like the rest of the warning lights? Even if enough fuel. Trying to rule out broken bulb
    - how do I pop clocks off to check bulb?
    - any other ideas on what to check?

    Thank you
    Cheryl

  2. I just checked and it does not come on when you turn the key on.

    Thank you for checking

  4. All good. Checked both my bikes and it definitely doesn't come on. Do you have a wiring diagram?

The fuel light runs off a plug under the tank of that helps. I broke mine once when I took the tank off. You should be able to test the circuit with a multimeter from the plug.

    Hi there,
Do you know if this is the connector you are referring to under the tank? Hopefully pic is attached correctly. Pic is as I found it but since cleaned out and reattached as you can hopefully see this is not fully connected when found. Someone also went over the top with vaseline type substance in it to protect connection.
    Regards
    Cheryl

No it’s not that one. The plug I mean is actually attached to the underside of the tank next to the fuel pump plug. There are two of them under there. The fuel light plug ( which is the smaller of the two) and the fuel pump plug. Hope this helps

All wiring is good. So it's either fuel reserve light or something in the tank itself

I think the level indicator is built into the fuel pump Shezz. I don't recall anyone reporting issues with the level sender previously.
Afaik the warning light is an led built into the circuit board of the instrument panel, so no actual lamp to replace.
If the wiring is sound, perhaps the easiest way to identify the culprit would be to plug another instrument panel to see if that works.
    Good luck mate.

  10. Fuel light is black, and fuel pump power is brown plug. Both same shape. The plug you show is fromchwrging coils to rectifier, looks like its been getting a bit hot. Give connectors a good clean and try to reconnect.

  12. I have this on mine and a friend had it on his a while ago, it's the led bulbs inside the clocks. Not very expensive he did his himself but you have to be good with a soldering iron as it's very small
