I just found the torx 55 that I needed. The question is, is it possible to remove the head without taking down the engine from the frame?? I've been struggling for the past hour. I removed the 8 inner torx, the four on the sides screwed to the frame and the two small torx next to the chain tensioner. I have some movement and a little separation but cannot take it out. Cheers!!!
Any advice on how to unmount the engine?? I've already removed the 4 screws on the head and the ones that go across the engine on the back. But still won't come down . Am I missing something??
guessing it could be the threaded engine mount "frame adjusters", when i was recently stripping my Thruxton I couldn't get the frame to lift from the engine without backing off the adjusters. I think there is a special tool but I used the end of a pry bar, my frame was going in the skip though. otherwise you've missed a bolt somewhere
I've found a video where a guy takes down the engine but doesn't explains that much and the video is in fast forward... At some point I see him working on the left side and removes the chain.also I removed the gear foot peg. There are 6 bolts that I removed and the engine is still mounted but I cannot seem to find any other
