Hope it's posted in the correct bit, As anyone got any info about the bloody 13 ecu any one cracked it or getting close ? reason being I gonna fit some daytona cams in my street and it'll work out a lot cheaper if I dont have to go PCV route .......
Two months ago I was asking guy that stands behind TuneECU if there is anyone working on adding back support for 2013+ triumphs. The answer unfortunate was no, but maybe something has changed since that time... I guess read is not a problem, but any modifications will block ECU. Didn't try this theory (yet), but will tryout Torque android app and ODB2 bluetooth adapter next week.
people that are attempting are not getting anywhere fast. Tune boy hope to have it cracked a year ago but they still cant. I have a feeling that they wont ever be able to unlock it
There's a company who advertise your can read and do service works on the 13 + daytona http://dealertoolcouk.ipage.com/
I've look into theirs offer and AFAIR they don't support fuel map modification. The only thing they support is reading and clearing error codes.
Funny really some kid can hack into the pentagon on on a home built pc, yet major companies are struggling to work around a little black box  Pity you can't just hook up the earlier model ecu
The problem is from what i've heard is that there's no remapping function built into the 2013+ ECU software and it isn't as much a question of "cracking" it as it is writing new software for it + reflash to get that functionality. The dealers can reset service intervals, clear error codes etc but that's it more or less. PCV+dynotime is the easiest option, bazazz also works but forget about the AFM and all automapping. I know 3 other 13-14 owners that had issues with their AFM's and said that it was junk. They had their bikes dynomapped instead and were very pleased afterwards with 5hp + gains over the AFM maps, better idle and overall better throttle response.
Nick as always come in with sensible info. What is AFM mate auto function map ? Lol So is bazzaz not as good as pc5 as I'm sure someone had the bazzaz mapped to their daytona and not just a generic map Sent from my iPhone using 675.cc mobile app
The AFM is bazzaz self/automapping feature, people seem to have mixed experiences with it. It has a wideband sensor bung and measures A/F ratios, it enables you to to what the dynotuners do but without a dyno and manual remapping. You drive around and update your map a little at the time, the AFM makes changes as necessary, you then load the updated map. The outcome will always be better if the bike is manually remapped by a qualified dyno tech, this is the same for both bazazz and PCV. I wouldn't bother with the AFM or PCV's automappers, you can get a full day on the dyno for that money and better results.
Cheers for the info looks like it will be the expensive route then, time to start saving ............
But don't you need a PCV to be mapped or dyno on a 13+ I thought you went down the pcv route mate or am I talking shit lol Sent from my iPhone using 675.cc mobile app
Yes you do, sorry for confusing you but there's a few options you can go with if you want piggyback fueling control for the D675/Striple. In all cases you'll need either PCV or bazzaz, you or your dealer install the basic unit of the prefered brand and then you either have a dynocenter map it for you wich is the best option and yields the best results. Both brands also has addons like self/automappers described earlier, they're primarily there for the people far away from a dynotuner but it's difficult to get the best out of them. Third option is getting the baseunits and download maps for your bike if available, with luck some might work ok if the setup is close to what your're running. I did this option until i had the time to have it properly remapped, there wasn't a map available that matched my setup so i took the closest one. It was far from ideal though since i run catless headers and a highflow airfilter. When i had the bike remapped it gained allmost 6 hp over that map with 121.48 rwhp.
