Trying to figure out the source of a long time oil leak on my 2014 Daytona 675R at the top of the crank case underneath the throttle bodies. I initially thought it was the oil pressure switch or starter motor O-ring, as per this thread https://www.675.cc/threads/stator-cover-oil-leak.44538/#post-477667

Replaced both a month ago, and noticed today that some oil has started pooling there again :censored:

Any ideas? There don't seem to be a lot of other sources of oil there.

Had the top of the engine off recently? Could be the rubber gasket that sits between that bit.

I had the cam cover off not long ago but it's leaking from much lower down than that area.

Only way to be sure is clean it all up and sprinkle some talcum powder and run the bike to pinpoint where it's actually coming from.
