Hello all I have been trying to unlock my fuel cap now for a few days, I have tried wd-40 and wd-40 anti seize but no luck.

How else can I remove the cap would it work taking the fuel tank off and accessing it from the inside?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    My bike is a 2006 Daytona 675.

Remove the 6 allen bolts and buy a new one.

If you're planning to remove it, drill from above? Not ideal but quicker than taking the tank off.

This has always worried me and I'm so glad I switched to keyless.

Hope you figure out how to get it off.

Right sorted thanks for the ideas, in the end used the brute force method and have replaced with a £50 quick release fuel cap.

I did not know that. Cheers for the info. Might be an idea to remove it if anyone was more worried about losing their keys than security!
    Glad you're sorted.
