I'm having an issue with hot starts, where the bike will idle really rough, say after pulling in for fuel and starting it back up - after doing some digging a lot pointed to the SAI Reed Valves.

I had a look at them yesterday and the leftmost (single), the petal thing was displaced in such a way that there was an opening and didn't seem properly seated. It also seemed to slide about and I was able to move it so that it was more diagonal rather than straight...... I could move it forward and back, left to right etc.

I take it that's not normal and shouldn't be happening? Is it worth replacing it?

You could always remove them by blocking it up and delete it on tune ecu
    Most do
