My question is what is in the way of the throttle body? Is it just the gas tank or is the air box also in the way? Also do I have to empty the gas tank to remove it or tilt it up?

  2. Airbox is also in the way.

You don't have to empty the tank to remove it, but it will be a hell of a lot easier if you do! If it does have a lot of fuel in it then I would definitely recommend two pair of hands to remove it. I can manage to do mine on my own, but only if it's down in the reserve.

Tilting it up would be fine with a full tank, but I'd be being careful not to stress anything along the way...

  3. if you remove any connections label them because if you put back without labels its nightmare also put a picture into you mob each time before removal

  4. I've done that a few times.. and I preffer to remove the gas tank, just unplug the hose that goes to the engine, the conector to the gas pump, and unscrew from where it's attached to the frame, then you have to remove the airbox and there you go... it's not that simple but it aint impossible... watch for all the screws you remove and be careful with the ECU, also just to be safe, disconect the battery.
