  1. In carbon fibre or Caspian Blue.

Mr J has had an Oops! moment in the garage... :censored:

May not be an OEM part but I did replace mine recently with one off Aliexpress, fake carbon but for the price it was a bargain, arrived pretty quickly too

  3. Mr J has got a guilty conscience and has said that he'll buy me a new CF one as a replacement if I can't find a genuine used one.

I'm not putting up much of an argument.

Can always go straight to triumph as they may have some old stock in for that colour

  5. I was thinking about doing that. Perhaps they have the corporate equivalent of the random boxes of spare parts I keep on finding under the bed?

  6. Sorted! After searching through eBay with every permeation possible, I've bought a new, genuine Triumph, mudguard in Caspian Blue. That's got the be the find of the year.

(And I felt obliged to buy some additional carbon fibre bling whilst at it ).

It's just as well that I've only just seen this thread then.: I was about to offer up the Carbon Fibre one that I have that I've never yet used. (in one of my own "random boxes" )
I'm going to hazard a guess that Mr J tried to move it before removing the front disc-lock ? That seems to have been by far the most frequent cause of death on here for front mudguards over the years..

  8. Mmmm, carbon fibre temptation! I wonder if Mr J is feeling guilty enough to buy me that as well? :D

It was very similar to the disk lock scenario: he was moving the bike and its blankie got caught up and bunched under the mudguard, forcing it upwards and cracking it. That's what he says, anyway... (He hates my bikes!).
