Hi all, I'm posting on behalf of a friend as he looking to get a 125 and as I don't know much about them thought I would turn to you knowledgeable lot. He 6' 4 and has a budget of £1500 doesn't have to be cosmetically pleasing just a decent runner as only plans to to use for a couple of years. I know he's quite keen on a Yamaha dt due to his size but what else is about suitable for such a lanky individual? Thanks in advance all.
That's interesting. My step son is in the exact same situation. He's 6'5" and wants to spend around that too. He is looking at honda CBF or Yamaha YBR. Not super exciting, but pretty standard all rounder.
I would suggest trail type bike due to their heights and it will give them the option to play on green lanes. Honda XL125 would be a cracking bike and they start from a grand, stack of them on ebay at the mo. This is currently at £700 This is at £1000
Fairly unkillable as well I had a shadow 125 (same engine) and it went nearly two years with almost no maintenance or servicing before I traded it in
