Decided to sell my bike: £5000 2009 special edition Geniune Triumph quickshifter ASV black levers Arrow end can and Triumph remap Zero Gravity double bubble screen Paint matched rear seat cowl R&G Tail tidy Smoked rear brake light LED rear indicators MOT until August next year 3400 miles Located in central Scotland
Is that a genuine smoke light? If so would you be interested in selling separate? Assuming you have the original to replace it with. Nice bike by the way, should sell easy.
Thanks for the kind comments, It is not a genuine one I am afraid it is a quality copy from Germany I believe - it has indicators built in as well which I don't use. Also I am not looking to break the bike of any parts. Thanks for looking though Marc
Had a good bit of interest in this but nothing substantial so far so it is still for sale Does anyone have any thoughts on it at all? Cheers Marc
Seeing as you asked, it's the same price more or less, as this one https://www.675.cc/675/threads/2012-daytona-675-diablo-red-2-7k-miles.30553/#post-413131
I called up someone who had a 2013 R model in autotrader for the same £5.5k 13K miles - seemed genuine.
Interesting, what you telling then? Am I asking to much you think? I would argue it is a SE but does that hold up? There is a similar one on auto trader for 6k just now
Your bike looks really nice and the low mileage is a selling point. However, for the sort of money you are asking, you can purchase a newer model Daytona. Just had a quick look on Ebay and there is quite a lot to choose from between £5000 and £6000. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-D...108087?hash=item2cb2f73b77:g:CtIAAOSweWVXf-51 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2012-TRIU...866851?hash=item4b098e48a3:g:lOEAAOSwzaJX894Z
Think it’s a very fair price myself (especially for the mileage!) you just need to consider that winters coming (obviously) so bike sales will be slow and also how many people want an SE (not saying no one does of course but I imagine its quite limited these days as newer flashier models have come out and even the end of the 675 cant be helping sales) Its a classic alright though, are you desperate to sell it?
Thanks for the feedback guys, I am not desperate to sell it no, but I would like rid of it. I guess I will look at the price and maybe reduce it I know it is possibly the worst time to sell a bike with a big change in weather coming and this will in turn stop people looking at getting a new bike Marc
Unfortunately a lot of SE were sold in 2009 as well. It started limited but wen they didn't sell well in other countries (the colour scheme). They shipped a lot more to the UK where it was selling, so ended up not being so limited. I think it is a fair price but ppl that wanna pay a fair price are few and far between these days. Also you may kick yourself if you don't hold on to it as this will be a classic.
Thanks for all the replies everyone been a great help. Just wanted to update that I will listen offers in case anyone has been looking. Cheers Marc
