Anyone got any std or titanium inlet valves for 2013+ gen 3. Needed for a tuned engine I am building.
Like a numpty I ground them in and took the coating off.

Would it not be viable to have them re-coated by someone like Wallwork or similar bignose.?

Maybe it can't be done mate, tbh I expected that you would know better than I.

If they offer the service, I expect there will be others also in the market.??
Internet says Wallwork themselves have a few locations, Cambridge, Birmingham, Manchester & Newcastle.

Is that something to be aware of with the gen 2 or only gen 3??
I’m asking as I’ve re-seated or ground in mine on a gen 2 without thinking of this.Haven’t used the engine yet so not to late if this is important.

The steel valves are ok, but the kit race valves are titanium and have a coating on them.
Once this is ground off they tend to wear very quickly and the clearance gets taken down till the valve is held open loosing compression.
