Tried this suit on at the weekend while I was at the dealera. If fitted me perfect. Iv been having problems finding a suit that fits right. Iv tried various dainese suits and I always seem to be 'between' sizes, same for rst suits. This is the first a stars suit ive tried tbh.
Iv seen this one before but never given it a second look because of its £1000 price tag. However its now been reduced to 499.
    Might be investing in one.

  2. I have the older version bought for £350 from triumph outlet. Fantastic suit and a bargain reduce from £1000

New one is a nicer colour though.

The colours are nice. It matches my caspian bang on tbh. Just have never been that sure about manufacter branded clothing if you know what I mean. Its not in your face though and its a lot of suit for the money aswell.

Yeah that was my thinking. It was a really good quality suit.

  5. Not a fan of having matching leathers etc, its a bit like those gay Ducati riders that have matching Ducati leathers and lid just to show how minted they are. You know the ones, the ones who will only park next to other ducatis at the local bike cafe etc!!! ;) just my opinion of course!

As you say it's a lot of suit for the money, I've got an Astars suit for the track - not the Triumph branded one but a plain black that was bankrupt stock being sold by a member who deals in that field - £300 for £1k suit, I've crashed in it heavily and the suit was faultless, I'd say it was a choice of aesthetics because the quality of the suit is beyond doubt.

Anyway they all look the same covered in flies and road crap!

  7. I agree about the matching leathers thing. But I needed a suit in a hurry and it came along at the right price at the right time.

As Deegee has said the quality of the Alpine Stars suits is great, so its just down to if you can put up with the logo on the chest.
