Hi all, So I've been riding my '07 Street Triple since just after I passed in August 2011 and have loved every one of the 6,000 or so miles I've ridden. But for the past six months have been toying with the idea of upgrading to a sportier bike; I absolutely love the ride of the Street and the engine is perfect (but what do I know?!) but I've always coveted the Daytona so... tomorrow I pick up my 2011 Daytona R - in at the deep end! I'll try and attach pictures as soon as I can but the work computer isn't being too helpful. Just thought it would be good to say hello having recently joined the forum as I'm sure I'll be in need of help and advice going forward and would love to find out if there are people nearby keen for a ride out. I'm in southwest London but of course happy to travel! Thanks for reading - hope to be here for a while... Dan
This is proving very difficult - I presume it's straightforward but clicking on 'Image Uploader' starts the process but ends up in a blank screen. No better using the phone! Any hints?!
Hey buddy, welcome in Not sure about the photos, it's pretty easy with the app from the iPhone. I'm not too far from South west London and there are a few members who live close to you so we should get out on some ride outs this year. Maybe box hill
Yes, click on uploader, and select your file, and press 'upload'. It takes a short while so be patient!!! Once it's uploaded, you will see it with a list of codes - use the BB code for forums - copy it and paste it into your thread. If that won't work then all I can suggest is to use a photo site such as photobucket. It is easier on a smartphone though. Else, email the pics to me and I'l upload them - PM me for email addy.
Welcome in fella enjoy the Daytona. Install the 675.cc app on your phone will be alot easier to upload pics.
Thanks for the help. With luck I'll have managed to upload a picture through the app - if so, here is my recently replaced Street Triple. Sad to see it go but very happy with the replacement...
So, as promised, here is a picture of the replacement with its predecessor. I couldn't be happier with the upgrade.
Both great bikes, hope you're happy with the daytona. Where in SW are you based? I'm in mortlake so prob not that far from you.
I'm about a mile up the road from you in Putney - hoping to go for a longish ride on Monday if you're keen? Open to suggestions on a good route!
just had an 07 street trip as a courtesy bike - fantastic bit of kit, absolutely loved it! welcome in
