Well I'm back in hospital for 3rd X-ray from when I broke my wrist (scaphoid) at Mallory just over 10 weeks ago. All being well I'll get the all clear and can go back to work to get some pennies back in the bank and get back on my bike.

Well after nearly 11 weeks!! My wrist is still not 100% healing well but still showing a slight fracture in scaphoid. Been signed back to work on very light duties the only problem is my work don't involve light duties!!

Also the problem is need to have physio twice a week to get full movement back (could take 2months or more) which if I return to work would not be possible as work away from home Monday-Friday.

I said all this to work and now there starting to play the arse holes which I think takes the piss in 5 year I've never had a day off sick until now graft my ass of doing stupid hour.
Sounds like they think I'm bullsh*ting the HR woman has been good as gold but then the occ health nurse want me to sign a consent form to speak with my GP. Dose she really think I love not working and getting paid £75ssp compared to £500-600 a week??

And the worse thing of all is looks like I wont be getting back on a bike this year gonna have to work double hard for next session. think I may invest in a snowmobile!!!

    That's a total bitch Wilson. :(

So much for all our good luck messages, the news couldn't have been much worse !

As for your work, well there's always some jobsworth who stirs things  . Can't see a problem with letting them have access to your GP though, 'cos as you point out you have nothing whatsoever to hide. If the company have anything about them they'll be well aware of your past work ethic, and will do all they can to adapt themselves to make sure they keep you. After all good employees are the largest proportion of what make a company successful.

BTW, I love most snowsports, but snowmobiles seem pretty naff to me, and to all the other motorbike riders I’ve ever talked to about them.

    Chin up mate.
