Finally got round to booking the Daytona into T3 for a custom map and 12K service. Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh not looking forward to paying that bill. Well actually looking forward to getting it back on the road.

Yep will be a fair sized wedge coming out your account after that one but it will all be worth it I'm sure!

  6. I'm looking at getting my 12k service done asap and just up the road from them. Do you know how much they charge for the 12k service?

They quoted £420 for 12k service inc VAT, this was three months ago. They should e-mail a quote tomorrow including race filter. Will let you guys know. They recon custom map is around £239 inc VAT.

  10. Did you get your 12k service done by them in the end? Would you recommend them? I am thinking of getting them to do my 12k service as my bike has just clocked over 10,000 miles

It's booked in for August 5th mate. I shall let you know how it goes. I can't imagine it'll be bad as not heard a bad review of them and they definitely know Daytona's

Will a custom map involve having a power commander fitted??

  13. Shouldn't need a power commander you can change the map using the standard ecu.

Nope, as above, they re write the ECU, on the older ones anyway, and you can get a copy of the map on a USB drive
