Bike: Caspian Blue '11 Daytona 675 (picked it up middle of May this year) Mods so far: - shorty Triumph levers - Arrow slip-on (db killer removed) - Triumph quick shifter - Evo-tech tail tidy - Carbon heatshield - Carbon rear hugger (Power bronze style) - Twinlight Driver 3 - GB racing crash bungs (frame, F&R bobbins, generator cover) - tinted Triumph aero screen - Öhlins TTX36 rear shock (new Triumph 675R unit) On order: - Slikdesigns extend-able mirrors To date I've covered around 800 miles during my first month of ownership and apart from the levers, QS + slip-on everything else has been DIY fitted . The last mod I want to make right now is to re-valve the front shocks + new springs for F&R to balance the bike and to get the suspension setup for my weight. In terms of riding I took the bike to Silverstone a couple of weeks back for California Superbikes Level 2 which was simply a revelation. I did level one on my previous bike (Honda VFR Vtec) and compared to that the 675 really did fly . Overall the chassis was cool other than I found the front end pushing wide when on the power early....nothing mega but noticeable. I did the Nürburgring with my bike club (TVAM) on my VFR and I'd REALLY like to throw the 675 around there if / when I get the chance. If there's any one else kicking around the Bucks area I may well see you out there - I'm pretty close to Hughenden Triumph and if you know where that is you no doubt know how lovely the roads are around there too  Anyway, that's my Triumph ownership so far and my "Hi, this is me" type thread thing Here's a pic of the old VFR and the 675 doing their respective "things" around Silverstone: Clicky 1 Clicky 2
Welcome along fella, haven't wasted ant time putting your own touches on the bike very nice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
@ redmist - thanks very much  @ T_daytona675 - well, I used to ride my VFR 365 days a year and only really did the mods that made "sense". Full fork revalve + custom rear shock transformed the bike but only after I'd had it 3 years!! The 675 is my first brand new bike and from the off I decided to get it to fit me straight away. It's not cheap but I figured all the bolts / nuts would be easier to undo now rather than later, and of course it means I get the most smiles from my investment for the duration of my ownership!! I intend to keep the bike a few years as it's a play thing only....unlike my VFR on which I clocked up 40,000 miles myself (58,000 total) in well under 4 years !! @ BigPete - cheers buddy
Hiya, welcome along. I don't even know what some of that stuff is hehe! The blue is stunning! Will have a nose at your clickies later. Enjoy the site, have fun
