Chain cleaner and lubricant

    Hi all has anybody got any suggestions on the best chain cleaner and lubricant?
    I use castrol at the mOment but find it flings off alot!
    Any suggestions?

    I just use cheap chain/brake cleaner... it's the same thing just in a different bottle lol...

    Then Wurth Dry Chain Lube... no fling :D

  4. I used some mucoff stuff to clean the chain. The dirt literally falls off mate.
    I'll have a nose when I go in the garage ;)

    I'm with Stu675. Scottoiler all the way. :cool:
    Less messy, less wear on the drive system, less chain adjustments & better lubed chain = less friction = more horses at the back wheel IMO.

    ok great got some wurth dry chain lube and muc off chain cleaner
     
  8. I normally use paraffin to clean the chain and another vote her for wurths dry lube.

    Cheap degreaser and Wurth Dry Lube here.
     
  10. I use 'Gunk' degeaser which you can by in Halfords to clean my clean, once dry I use the Wurth dry chain lube. Like the other guy's have been saying, It doe's fling at all.
