Bought a Yamaha YBR 125 to get my wife through her test and onto bigger bikes. Unfortunately she doesn't enjoy being in control of a motorbike so am looking to sell the bike on. Not managed to take any pictures or get an advert together as yet, will sort that at the weekend. Just wondered if anyone was potentially looking for anything.

It's a little tatty, bit of rust here and there. The ignition is a bit dodgy, got a new barrel and key just couldn't be bothered fitting it because it works well enough. The clocks are glued together and have a crack in them.

Apart from that it'd make a cracking bike for city commuting or a first bike for someone.

Sorry, it's greater Manchester area. Would be an interesting ride on a 125... :D.

I've just had a quote from Shipley about fetching a bike and the quote was quite cheap so don't let distance put you off, unless you would like to experience riding a 125cc bike for that distance?

Like I said, it's a bit tatty but definitely not the worst I've seen. It's obviously been dropped exhaust side.

  8. I had one as my first bike. Those were the days, cruise control (throttle on end stop) over 100 MPG and 70MPH if you were lucky.

  9. I could take that green landing with some nobly tyres!

I actually thought about keeping it and doing something like this:

Just not got the time or space for a project at the minute. Someone coming to look at it Sunday though, so hopefully can free some shed space up.

  11. We were out green laning around Luton. There were some kids on one with no lights plates and on standard tyres and it did quite well as it was not wet.

Most people that green lane use bikes that are far more capable than they need.
