Hi there, im looking for a complete engine or even just the cyclinder head from a daytona 675.. I have been unfortunate enough to have dropped a valve and it was eaten by my engine

If you have any parts or even know where I may be able to source some from it would be very very appreciated.

I need your help ! pls

  2. I've got a complete engine from a 2008 Daytona with 11,000 on it. It was removed from a cat B bike, which looked to be a weekend warrior only. I'm in Northampton £650, motobrox @ yahoo .co.uk

  3. I have some spares from my last race engine including head, valves, piston, liners etc. Send me a PM if you're interested.

    Cheers

    Chris

Hey motobrox, thanks for the reply

It's a very tempting offer but I forgot to mention that my Daytona is a late 2009 model which is after Triumph introduced changes to the cylinder head and valve gear - after chassis no. 381275 . My chassis no. is 4051**.
Im not sure how/if this would affect the running with the different ecu's/wiring etc... It's a shame but unless yourself or anybody else on this forum has switched the engines without issues then I would be worried about any hiccups caused..

Hey kiwi_uk, thanks also for the reply.

As above it would depend on what model year your bits are from (I think? maybe you can clear that up). As far as I can tell from the part numbers on Triumphs part locator for the pistons and liners have not been changed so I would deffinately be interested in some prices - I'll also PM you ;)

Input from anybody reading this about interchangeability of parts would be welcomed ..

  5. The head would be no good to you mate as it's a 06 to 08 head.

Will PM you my number. I'll be down at the workshop tomorrow so I can talk you through what I have.

    Cheers

    Chris
