  1. Best of both with the tango. Full arrow system helps a bit too

If you already have a street just put some daytona cams in re shim the valves if it's an 08 /12 then remap it via tune ecu if not power comander as said earlier, that way you get more power gonna be cheaper than buying a bike.

Loads of info on the upgrade on various sites

nice 1 tango do you feel lot more power than street

  5. Oh yes.
I own the bike with Triumph specialist Clive Wood. btw he is mentioned in the in this months Bike mag doing a used bike guide on D675's. Anyway he took it out on a private road. I checked the speedo and it had gone up to 158mph.
That's kin fast on a naked bike.

cheers mush update when get daytona this way put all daytona parts back on if change mind

  8. I'm not sure u can just drop daytona came in can u???? My understanding (which could be wrong!) is that the daytona engine from 09 had the oval port cylinder head, AFAIK the street triple never got the newer spec engine, and instead stuck with the original spec one. Even if u could, the compression is lower and I believe the pistons different. There was someone on here a while ago who wanted to do the same and ended up buying a daytona complete engine to put in his street because it was such a pain messing with the street triple to get it to the same power....

No phil cams drop straight in you just need to re shim to the same as the daytona , yes street has cast pistons but it dosn't rev as high as the tona so not much to worry over unless you increase the red line past 13k. As with all tuning it carries a risk but most are reliable as the standard version..

If you look on the yank 675 forum there is a load of people done it and for the price it's one of the cheapest ways to get the street up to how it should be triumph say retune but we all know it's detune..

  10. Fair enough, that sounds like good bang for buck.

Oops, I should have said that the top gear speed of 160 was not at the rev limiter, but was the highest speed seen by the rider. When I asked him, he said that he only saw the speed, and didn't think to look at the rev counter at the time. Silly man! At least the now knows to take note of that next time. He also asked me to point out that the above speeds were not done on the public highway in this country.
