Hi guys.. a have a couple of issues with my 2011 daytona, when I startup the bike, all seems well, no engine light, however when I switch off the bike completely then immediately startup the bike again, the engine management light pops up. To avoid this, I would have to let the ECU power down first, then wait 3-4mins before starting up the bike again to not have the engine light come on. It clears after it’s heat cycle. The second issue is that sometimes when starting up, the idle sound starts off smooth and stutters, I would have to blip the throttle a little to cure this stuttering.. anybody aware of these issues?? Much appreciated guys
Do you have tuneECU? Worth plugging it in and reading the error codes, you can download it for free and the usb to OBD2 cable is only a tenner.
