Well thought I'd pop this one up to get some feedback and ideas on it as lately I've noticed that maybe one or two horses have escaped from Gabriellas engine as she approaches the 24k mile marker. Plan is to use her daily until my contract at the Olympics has finished up towards the end of the year then take her off the road and have her engine refreshed.

I remember hearing a rumour somewhere that T3 might be able to provide this sort of service or am I mistaken? Has anybody else had this done? I don't want to put a new engine in her I just want her existing one refreshed so that she is back to her best again. Any ideas on how much it might cost to get done?

  2. im sure t3 do it as when i was there they had a couple of engine in there for a refresh i think its around £1000 but i guess that depends on whats done and parts used

    Isn't 20k just nicely bedded in.? :?

 I wonder if David may be able to enlighten us as to the rate of decline over mileage.?

Id say have a dyno run first see what sort of power it is at first £1000 is alot if it doesn't really need doing.
I was surprised when mine got dyno'd the chain was a bit dry, so lubed it up and gained 3bhp!

It definitely is in need of serious attention a remap is not the answer it needs more plus she will be my track bike next year so needs doing before then.
