Some of you will know that I've been working 3 days a week in Liverpool since just before last Christmas. I can do a great Scouse accent now Well the job's come to an end today. It was only ever temporary and I got an email Monday to tell me they have appointed a permanent person and so push off I've never been sacked by email before! I was a bit pissed off at first but I was getting tired of late home and early starts, and it didn't pay brilliant, so the more I think about it, I'm more relieved than anything, and I can get on with my own business, which was getting sadly neglected. And it means that at last I'll have some time to run and to ride, my poor bike has become a garage ornament But they've asked me, if they need help again, will I come back Funny how news spreads though. I had a call from an agency, wanting me to go work in Carlisle. Yep, that's really do-able from Shrewsbury
Onwards and upwards, hopefully you'll find something more permanent closer to home, and get the bike out!
Tomorrow's another day and something better will come along to pay the bills and allow for more you/fun time to be had as well.
I guess that's simply their easiest approach, & I would expect that it's not going to be that rare. I should just enjoy your increased free time doing whatever you enjoy, making the most of the opportunity they have handed you.
nice one edski how about a "mind your car lad?" business now youve got the scouse accent down to a tee?
Sounds like they are proper numptys sending a 'Get lost Email' but hey thats how some people run their lifes. Best bit about working for yourself is the fact that you can dictate the hours you work as long as you can full fill the requirements, its all positive mate
life is all about experiences, never anything bad about them but now you got your time back to concentrate on what you want your love it even more. Hope you manage to get out on the bike and do even more running in the hills
