I have my whole exhaust system in bits and cleaned and it's all going back together now but just wondered if the manual advised any sealant on the joints? Especially the header cross link as there is no springs pulling the headers together.

  2. Can't hurt to if it'll give you peace of mind.

  3. I put a new one together the other day and was told by triumph dealer not to apply paste. The Ti pipe is designed to move and expand. Others might have a different view.

  4. I would't use any sealant, it should seal itself

  5. I had to use some on mine, where the headers slot onto the spacers that go into the head.
But mine was a used system and I don't think it's perfectly straight tbh. So could be due to that
