    Hi all,

When pressing the front brake, it doesn't illuminate the brake light. The rear brake does.

I've taken off the clicky mico switch from the front brake lever, and when you click in the button, the brake light flashes once, but doesn't stay on.

Has anyone heard of this? Is there a simple fix?

I had a faulty brake light on my Daytona, it worked ok on foot brake but not on front lever.

See if you can borrow a brake light, it's a simple plug in connector.

Thanks Capt, I found your original thread on this from last year, and took the advice to short out the switch connector. The brake light illuminates normally. So I guess I need a new microswitch!

The front brake switch failed on my 07. Its an easy swap out for a new one.
Got one from ebay, cost less than a tenner, easily sorted.

I've got a replacement brake switch from my local helpful triumph dealer.. except now, either both of my alarm fobs have decided to stop working or my alarm won't respond to the fob.. meaning it's constantly alarmed..

I think this bike hates me
