Yep it's the first thing I do that on any bike as someone told me the same thing many moons ago Sitting on the bike your fingers should be in line with your arms which was a brilliant piece of advice. If suspension does not contribute towards the pain I think now I have to some how lift the clip ons so my wrist is in line with everything else. I find the 675 bends your wrists slightly so I pushed my bats right out. 4 days at cartagena I still couldn't solve it and after all the great advice I've received from the forum I think I need now to some lift the bars. There must be clip ons that can be adjusted up and down for that personal feel.
Fair one, it's something I learnt from mountain biking and carried it over to the motorbikes. Used to have real bad issues with wrist pain and numb hands because of it. Other than I can't really think of any other reasons other than maybe general fitness? I'm no athlete by any means but my first couple of track days completely killed my arms, back and legs. Now I work out a little bit I find the issues reduced significantly. I'm not small and I think I struggled with not being able to keep myself up if that makes sense? Muscle fatigue etc
That's probably it lol I mean what's training anyway who wants to run up and down do press ups rather than eat pies and donuts. I so love donuts But on a serious note your spot on I was at snetterton and crashed in the pit lane 1 because my right hand went numb 2 I took my hand off the handlebar then hit a strip that was wet 3 I'm a dick lol Was so embarrassing
