Ok mate I'll let you know. I've just been told that I might be on kitchen decorating duty, as if I haven't spent enough time doing the rest
Cheers Red. I'm cutting it a bit fine really getting it finished but it's more or less done now just a couple of small items to get but nothing to stop me riding it. Wanted to put a few mls on it before we leave. Can't wait now though is there gonna be a meet up from off here, I will prob be looking for people to hang about with on a couple of days/eve as the two im going with are now taking their other half's
Definitely need to arrange a 675 meet but I'll leave that to those with a bit more local knowledge I reckon or at least til we get there. I'm going with Big Mac and his dad mate , more the merrier. We're staying in Castletown.
If you need a road riding buddy to ride the back lanes around Ketters with, to scrub your tyres in before you head for the ferry, I'm back next weekend
Hamburg was great The Autobhans are amazing but 200kph get really uncomfortable after 10-15 minutes, cruising at 150-160 is much easier. The Nurburg Ring is a "Must do", but I'll wait for a bike only day; bank holiday traffic on the ring saw packets of 10-25 cars all clustered together and I'm not sure I'm up for that. An old boy stuffed his pimped out Matt Gold Ferrari right in front of my spectating spot, that was considerate of him. Holland tomorrow and Belgium Monday through Friday
I wanted to do Nurburg Ring, I was told by someone that has done it, a bus was going around it too, wtf.
The "Ring" is a public toll road. Anyone can pay their €€ and do a lap - all vehicles have to be road legal - no slicks There were full blown race prepped cars and young lads taking dad's top power business rep estate car round. If you are going slowly, stay right with an indicator on. There are ring "Taxi" cars with drivers who will take you in anything from a Suzuki Swift to an Aston Martin - prices vary accordingly. There are coach tours to various key Motorsport locations that include a lap of the ring, so busses are not uncommon.
