    Hi,

My bike wouldn't start the other day and i have traced it back to the crank position sensor.

It measured 1.8 Mohms of resistance on the multimeter.

You can only get replacments if you buy the stator alongside it and this is very expensive. I am trying to source a replacement either a chinese copy of the actual part or another OEM part that will do the same thing and fit the same space.

What I require is an idea of what the crank position sensor does in normal operation. What signal does it send back to the ECU.

Could someone with a multimeter or even better an oscilloscope probe the connector while the bike is running to see what signal the sensor is providing back to the ECU?

    Thanks

    Max
