Well I am finally back in the UK after being delayed by 6 days in Lanzarote.

Ironic isnt it, I was on a volcanic island and it was the UK that was affected by a volcano. Thankfully we booked the holiday as a package with Thomson who handled it all very well. After the date we were originally meant to go home we were upgraded we were all upgraded to all inclusive. So i have now put on half a stone and have drunk more alcohol thani thought was possible all for free! And had an extra 6 days holiday.

Downside was that I had to take time off work and I have no holiday left, i got a horrible cold and cough from friday and was bedbound for a couple of days, we got chucked out our room at 12pm, we had a night flight back from Lanzarote I had 2 children in front of me, and 2 screaming babies behind with the mother sitting in the footwell so i couldnt put my seat back and the mother in front of me with her seat as far back as possible, finally landing at Gatwick at 4am, then waited for 30 minutes on the stand cos the man with the steps wasnt there. Oh and then when we eventually got back to the car, the battery was a flat as a pancake.

So all in all it was a great holiday a truely fantastic time well needed, just coming home was the bad part though.

  2. Thats sounds very good (for the most part). Would you go there again?

  3. Just goes to show that Thompson are a good company to do that :)

Did you have a Sunday dinner in the curry sark or sunburnt arms pubs?
I found it very noisey but nice when we was there. I love Peurto Del Carmen. Stayed there five times now and apart from the time share type people it's a great place.
