I have a feeling this may be answered very quickly so here I go...

When installing the new battery yesterday the bloody alarm (datatool S4) wouldn't stop going off as soon as the connection was removed and then when reapplying the connection.

    This prompted this question:

How do you completely disarm the alarm? Is there a way?

If it's the same as mine:

    Disarm
    Ignition on
Hold both fob buttons fro 10-12 seconds until there's a single beep
    Ignition off

This puts my S3 into winter mode, allowing you to take the battery off.

    Cheers Scort.

I saw that in the quick reference guide but was looking for something to completely kill the alarm, until re-activated.

I'll make a note of it the next time I need to change the battery :) topman.
