    Hello Everyone

Just came across the site and forum, had a browse and really impressed; hence signed up.

I'm a 44 year old father of 3 that passed my tests early 2016. Went and had a look at a few bikes but fell in love with the Daytona 675R so treated myself to a 2014 from Cobb and Jaggar in Shipley, Bradford. Great bunch of people that looked after me well.

I absolutely love getting out on the bike, my middle child is 18 and he has a CB125F. We ride together as much as we can but he's now moved to Birmingham as he started University in September. Looking forward to him coming home at Christmas and hopefully getting out together.

I love the whole biker community and camaraderie, the nod as you pass another biker for example! The biker meets are great too, many people are so welcoming it's great. Sharing stories about each others experiences and bike mods.

    This is my ride:

I was a bit scared of getting something so powerful as a first bike, but decided that I loved it and why the hell not!

Thanks for stopping by and having a read....no doubt there will be lots of questions to come.

    Cheers

    Thanks very much LifeofRiley.....

He's doing Dentistry and mentioned that they had been showing them photos of facial injuries, said it scared him a bit.
I told him that wasn't a bad thing, knowing the consequences means you'll ride smarter and more aware. You realise how many fools actually have licences when you're on two wheels. It's pretty scary, especially in places like Bradford.

    Stay safe, Ride Safe....

    Cheers Rossgo....!

I love it, the sound, the responsiveness and the fact that it's a Triumph!!

Although I'm itching to put a louder exhaust on it but trying to reign in the urge to spend spend and spend some more!

I had that same problem with my mountain bikes, the urge to buy the greatest and latest can hit the wallet pretty hard!!!

    Hi :)
Have you, or someone lowered the bike?
Looks like a lot of fork showing above the yoke.

    Hi Stu

No, I definitely haven't lowered it. Possible that the previous owner did, but I'm not sure. Gary is suggesting, I think, that it looks fine.

Will ask the dealer when I'm next in for a service.

actually I looked carefully at mine again this morning, I have quite a lot showing too, specifically 3 rings plus a little (I suspect a 4th equally spaced ring is hidden on mine). The handbook will tell you for certain but I think that is standard.

Sorry if I worried you :)

Not to worry, I'm a pretty laid-back kind of guy and appreciate any and all feedback.....

    Hi, Welcome in. Great choice!!!

@Stu675 , had a look at mine and it is also showing 3 rings (grooves) and maybe half way to the next one.... and its standard from the dealer.

ps I despise noisy exhausts... especially at 5am!!!
