Round our way you report it to council , they go clean it up then send hefty bills to land owners, worth checking with your local council to see if same applies , a few large bills might make them clean up the mess on time [WINKING FACE]
Well done Edski. This problem has pretty much stopped me from riding at this time of year. I've lost count of the number of times I've reported exactly the same sort of problem. On a different note, I called the 101 number the other day, just after the storms. I work in a converted wharf building, right next to a river. The river was in full flood, and snagged on the bank was a life ring. After checking that ours were intact, and that there was nobody visible in the water, I thought it best to report it. (I couldn't live with myself if there was someone in trouble, and I'd ignored it.) Two hours later, a couple of PCSO's turned up. "It's ok - we've found where it came from..." was their response... No checks of missing people, no search of the river banks. Didn't even remove the life ring. Bloody PCSO's are waste of space...
^^^If you get a clear run, Huffley Lane is awesome cos it's twisty and has short but sharp hills where it goes over the some drumlins, so you need your wits about you, but it's great fun esp if you can go fast over the drumlins cos you can bottom out the suspension
Another one. It's "they're" not "there". Come on girl. And there's an benefit to you in me replying - I accidentally hit the "thanks" button, before the "quote" button.
Well done for making the time to write a letter to the fuzz. And for keeping us fully in the frame too. Thanked!
Just as a matter of interest, If I recall was there a certain distance a tractor could drive on the road? always thought it was like 12 miles or something, just it is ridiculous how many tractors are used as personal forms of transport to go to the shops, on top of also being used to trailer items around instead of using lorries.
^^^This is a really good point. Around here in rural north Shropshire it's not uncommon to see a tractor or JCB Fastrak outside the pub!!!!
with regards to them using tractors for longer than 12 mile journeys I know a lot of bikers bend the rules sometimes when its not dangerous to others so we cant really complain when others do it the mud however Is dangerous
Hmm Glen675, not when you have to follow a queue a mile long of traffic, quite often you see it in the south.
