    HI All,
    bad form on my part, saying "Hi" after lurking around and making a couple of posts over the last week!
    Anyway, finally uploaded some pics, so thought I would do the right thing and introduce myself and my Daytona.

    Its been a long time since I last rode a "proper" bike (when I was 18, I'm now 42!). And this year i decided enough was enough, and set about the financial nightmare that is DAS a couple of months back.
    I wish I could have afforded the time/money to take my bike test when I was younger, but on the plus side i got some great safety/awareness training!

    So, I passed my Mod 2 last Monday morning, bought my Daytona (from pure triumph wellingborough) Monday evening, took deliver Wednesday afternoon, and haven't stopped riding & tinkering since.

    I guess I'm amongst good company when I say i ab-fu-so-ucking lutely love the triumph, and I am still discovering what it is capable of as I get more used to it.

    enough waffle, here's the pics;

    First three were taken outside the dealers, who waited until 7pm for me to arrive, before test riding a couple of machines.

    and these are after my first round of tinkering, so far added;

    *stomp grips to tank, a necessity after the wrist cramp from my first 3 hour ride on delivery day!
    *Removed pillion pegs, and blanked off holes (thanks for the tip Craig)
    *Triumph short levers
    *Evotech tail tidy
    *TRW rearsets, thanks to advice from Sean last night i fitted 'em this morning bright and early (bought them from Calsport, cant rate their customer service highly enough!)

    Next round will add an evotech radiator guard, smoked-integrated rear light cluster and carbon exhaust tip from Carbon4U.
    Thinking of doing the "pro-bolt" thing and trying to lose all the silver visible bolts....not that this has become an instant obsession or anything :roll:

  2. Looking nice buddy! Welcome aboard! :675cc:

    Welcome along dude :cheers: and an extra well done for getting the fastest colour ;)

    FYI...one of our Triumph specialist pro traders offers discounts on the Evo tech and can also supply the probolt stuff if you go down that road.
