http://link.brightcove.com/services/pla ... 4790436001 think we are still top of the pile and agree that the 848 isnt a true supersport!! that doesnt say i dont want one though!! over 10k though!!
I want to have 3 bikes in the stable long term (fantasy garage). A cruiser, a street fighter and a Ducati. I'm working on the cruiser for next year and I have the Street Triple R already. The 848 will be the Ducati I would probably buy (I owned the 749 and I miss it dreadfully).
I watched this and thought it was a pretty pointless comparison. When people realise the 675 competes with 600s and not GSXR-750s and 848s then the reviews will make more sense…
anyone else get the feeling the 848 was going to win from the start, the opening comments of "we love the 848" kind of means it’s a pointless review....slightly biased I feel. If you want to spend 10.5k then go for it for 3k less I know were my money would be. I am with TimRodie, and Andy the 848 is not a super sports so why is it in that review, still nice thought.
I agree....why compare the 675 to an 848? Seems like a bit of a jump. I haven't mamaged to watch the vid yet, but what are the reasons why the 848 isn't a supersports? I don't disagree, I just don't know the reasons yet!.
Im reading the MCN artical about the R6 Vs 675 Vs 848 and I think that the 675 won hands down. MCN even say that the Duke is more superbike and should only be considered by trackday nuts. VICTORY FOR THE MIGHTY 675!
